Ali Harris has spent twenty-five years in the retirement industry, most of them inside the data that recordkeeping runs on: data architecture, reporting and reconciliation for 401(k), 403(b) and HSA platforms. That work includes cash reconciliation software for large 401(k) institutions, client-profitability applications for Fortune 500 firms, and a bank conversion from DB2 to SQL Server.
At Convergent, Ali has led retirement technology, reporting and application modernization work for Ameritas, served as lead conversion specialist on Equitable's 403(b) conversion, and led data architecture and quality assurance for Newport Group's participant access portal. Ali is a Certified Scrum Master and a Certified Quality Analyst.
Ali's current focus is AI-driven development for retirement clients: taking a system from a stakeholder's own description to a working, validated first version in days rather than sprints, with the review gates and traceability a regulated business needs. Ali is the author of Convergent's Beyond Agile method.
